He sees the world and approaches it anew, taking small steps. Making sure nothing is too loud, too conspicuous. He does not get too close to his subject. But he does not stay far away either. It has nothing to do with reserve, caution or modesty. He holds his breath as he approaches his subject. This a solemn and responsible practice where, instead of him creating the image, each image shapes him. Pure sensitivity. This is his special touch, his artistic credo. To be defenseless. We are unable to separate the context and his subject from the photographer himself. At times, instead of an object or a person, he photographs light itself that lends his pictures a dramatic aura. It is as if he follows Pascal\u2019s observation regarding the infinite fragility of human perception and understanding. Nevertheless, his compositions show a high degree of confidence. Each of his images is unique, one-of-a-kind and simple. He does not create or follow any style; his incomparable approach results in an all-encompassing glance. He is not emotional, but filled with emotion. What we see is the bond created between his subject and himself captured in space and light. He sees the world and approaches it anew, taking small steps. Making sure nothing is too loud, too conspicuous. He does not get too close to his subject. But he does not stay far away either. It has nothing to do with reserve, caution or modesty. He holds his breath as he approaches his subject. This a solemn and responsible practice where, instead of him creating the image, each image shapes him. Pure sensitivity. This is his special touch, his artistic credo. To be defenseless. We are unable to separate the context and his subject from the photographer himself. At times, instead of an object or a person, he photographs light itself that lends his pictures a dramatic aura. It is as if he follows Pascal\u2019s observation regarding the infinite fragility of human perception and understanding. Nevertheless, his compositions show a high degree of confidence. Each of his images is unique, one-of-a-kind and simple. He does not create or follow any style; his incomparable approach results in an all-encompassing glance. He is not emotional, but filled with emotion. What we see is the bond created between his subject and himself captured in space and light.
